How do I get rid of a poison ivy rash?

Trish Asked: How do I get rid of a poison ivy rash?My dog was playing outside and was sniffing in poison ivy (I didn't realize until later) When my dog came inside I petted/played with him...and over the next few days I got a few itchy spots.Then all the sudden yesterday I noticed my elbow was covered in red itchy dots. Now it's on both elbows, behind my knees, and on my hands.How do I get this to stop spreading?Am I supposed to pop the spots to get the liquid out or leave them alone?
