Dog Training Questions

Mandy asks…Protective/Guard Training?I am getting a new dog (probably a German Shepherd) in about a month. Other than as a companion the dog will act almost like my GF's bodyguard when I'm not around. I am use to large dogs and training them as a normal dog but I do not want to discourage aggressive behavior but more like being able to control it.
