Ranger and random horde of ducks

My moms apartments have a lot of ducks that hang around. I decided to see how my dog Ranger would react around them. As expected, he was great! We were about a foot away from the front row of ducks. Ranger is a five year old Pomeranian. I am saying hi to someone showing a person an open apartment. I was a little afraid that I would get into trouble because I didn't know if I was "allowed" to "feed the wildlife" but they waved, looked stunned that a dog was a foot away
