ME Asked: Should I get the rabies vaccination?I work in mental health and while on a home visit I was bitten by a dog. It was a pet and barely broke the skin. I went to the doctor that night and got a tetanus shot. Then two days later i got a call from the health department and couldn't answer it. I tried to return the call but got no answer, the next day I got a letter reccomending I get the rabies vaccination. I talked to my work and they decided i could break HIPAA to report the
