Dog Training Questions

Helen asks…Training some aggressive out of Jack Russell Terrier?I have just saved an abused jack russell terrier from a shelter, and i love him to death, but he gets really aggressive randomly. He nips and bites sometimes when i try to play with him with his toys, his abusers would give him toys and food and would then just take them away as soon as they did, so he thinks that im going to do that too. I just was wondering if anyone knew anyway that i could train him out of thinking this way.
