Asked: My dog keeps trying to pick up her newborn babies and sleep next too me, what do I do?My dog had puppies yesterday and last night and today when it's time to go to bed she keeps picking them up from their basket and curling up next too me in my bed. Before she gave birth this is where she slept, she is a chihuahua. I'm not sure whether or not it is ok to let her do this as it is causing her a lot of distress and confusion. Both parents are pure-bred chihuahuas.
