Dog Training Questions

David asks…What fun or useful tricks have you taught your dog, and how did you do it?I recently adopted a 1.5 yr old chocolate lab and we're working on obedience training. He's a natural and has been the star of the class. We're working on the basics; he's got sit and stay down and we're working on down and 'go to your bed.'

I was wondering if anyone had taught their dogs any neat tricks that were especially fun or useful. Also (more importantly), how did you teach them?
